Understanding PM forecasting options

There are several options available for adjusting the due dates for forecasted PMs.

See the following table for a list of icons available:

Icon	Description	Results
Show Legend	View the calendar legend	The system displays the calendar legend with the parameters set on the Parameters page.
Validate Session	Validate all records in a session to see if any active warnings exist	The system displays any active warnings. To ignore an active warning, select Ignore Warning, and then click Submit. The system ignores the warning and validates the session.
Process	Process all due date changes and approve a session	The system updates all relevant PM equipment records with the new due dates and Perform On Day information, if a perform on day was set. The system does not approve sessions with active warnings unless Allow Session Approval with Active Warnings is selected on the Parameters page.
View Resource Load	View the resource load required to perform PMs	The system displays the View Resource Load popup.
Run Resource Load Graph	Run the resource balance report	The system initiates the view resource load report for the current session.
Run Future Maintenance Cost Report	Run the future maintenance cost report	The system initiates the maintenance cost report for the current session.
Cancel Session	Delete and cancel a session	The system cancels the session, and then displays the Parameters page. The system deletes the Session ID.
Previous Month	View the same day of the previous month	The system displays the same day of the previous month. If the same day does not exist in the previous month, the system displays the last day in the previous month.
Next Month	View the same day of the next month	The system displays the same day of the subsequent month. If the same day does not exist in the subsequent month, the system displays the last day of the next month.

There are several right-click options available for PM equipment. To view and choose the options, right-click on the PM equipment record, and then select the appropriate right-click option.

View Equipment Details	View details for PM equipment	The system displays the View Equipment Details popup.
Update PM Due Date	Update a PM Due Date	The system displays the Update Due Date popup. Note: If the record represents a nest, the system displays all PMs in a nest. Original Due Date is the PM due date as it exists currently in the system. Due Date is the PM due date as it exists within the current session.
Validate Record	Validate a single record in a session	If the validation fails, the system displays the failures in the Validation Warnings popup.

There are numerous right-click options available on a calendar grid cell. To view and choose the options, right-click on the calendar grid cell, and then select the appropriate right-click option.

Disable Perform On Day	Disable Perform On Day	The system disables Perform On Day.
Lock PM Due Date	Lock the PM Due Date	The system locks the PM Due Date.
Unlock PM Due Date	Unlock the PM Due Date	The system unlocks the PM Due Date.
