Issuing parts

Issue parts from stores to work orders, equipment, or projects.

Follow these steps to issue parts.

  1. Choose Matl > Issue/Return Part. The system displays the Issue/Return Part form.
  2. Select Issue.
  3. Store—Enter the store from which to issue parts.
    Note: Infor EAM Mobile inherits the security setting for Store based on the security setting specified in Infor EAM.

    You cannot issue/return parts to a store unless the Issues/Returns checkbox is selected on the Store Security page of the User Groups form. In other words, stores for which this checkbox is not selected for the user's group will not be displayed in the Store lookup on the Issue/Return Part form.

    The Store lookup displays store records in the organizations for which you have access permission.

    All other lookups display records in the current store's organization and the common organizations for which you have access permission.

  4. Enter the WO, Equip, or Project against which to issue parts.
  5. IssTo—Enter the employee receiving the parts.
  6. Select a part from the list or click New Record to enter the part to issue. The system displays the available quantity (Avail), the bin location (Bin), and the lot number (Lot). Change the bin location and lot number as necessary.
  7. Qty.—Enter the quantity to issue.
  8. Click Save. The system displays a confirmation message.
  9. Click Yes. The system issues the part.
