Viewing delivery history for messages
Each time the system attempts to deliver a response/outbound message or a sub-data area of a message to the destination, it stores a delivery history record in the database and displays the record(s) on the Processing page of the Message IDs form.
If a message does not have multiple sub-data areas, Time Delivered, Status, and Status Message display the same values as the corresponding fields on the primary message status record. Data Area is always blank.
When the system delivers a message one sub-data area at a time, it records the delivery status of each sub-data area. While the system is processing the sub-data area, the status information of the main record reflects the overall status of the sub-data area. The system populates Time Delivered with the time that the last sub-data area was delivered.
The system populates Address with the actual URL or other destination to which the message or the sub-data area was delivered. Multiple addresses (URLs) can be associated with the destination. The system displays the last address to which the delivery attempt for the message failed and displays nothing if the address is not applicable.
