Defining lookup values for custom fields

Define lookup values for custom fields of the "Code+Description" type.

To define lookup values for custom fields:

  1. Open the Associate Custom Fields form.
  2. Entity—Enter the entity for which to define a lookup value. The system displays the associated custom fields.
  3. Select the custom field Line for which to define lookup values.
  4. Click Define Lookup Values. The system displays the Lookup Values popup.
  5. Click Add Value. The system inserts a new Lookup Value Details record.
  6. Value—Enter the value for the lookup.
  7. Description—Enter a description of the value.
    Note: Description field is only enabled if the Lookup Type is Code+Description.
  8. Out of Service—Select if the lookup value is out of service.
  9. Click Submit.
